OUR MISSION
There is no better way to understand the refugee crisis than by listening to the personal stories of refugees and their advocates.
Heart to Heart was founded by three young women from different walks of life who are committed to facilitating common understanding through opportunities of authentic dialogue. As a rising communications nonprofit, Heart to Heart is particularly interested in engaging entire communities across the U.S. around the global refugee crisis. Since the end of 2016, more than 22 million refugees have been forcibly displaced worldwide as a result of persecution, conflict, or violence. In fact, over half (51%) of all refugees are school-aged children under the age of 18. Heart to Heart was created with refugees and their advocates in mind. As a communications nonprofit, Heart to Heart is dedicated to not only empower refugees to tell their own stories but also leverage the intimacy of storytelling and help refugees create empathetic bonds with allies worldwide.
